Colin A. Forde, Ph.D

Colin A. Forde, Ph.D. is a Partner with Amicus Capital Partners (ACP).  He has nearly 20 years of executive marketing, sales, and sales management experience in the healthcare industry, including the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostic and medical devices sectors.   Due to Dr. Forde’s extensive management development expertise, he has also counseled multiple senior executives at firms such as Genentech, Serono, Intendis, and Walgreens.

Prior to ACP, he served as Chairman and Managing Partner of Forde Group Healthcare (FGH), providing business development, strategy, and M&A advisement to healthcare services, life sciences, health technology, and financial services companies that invest in healthcare.  Within Forde Group Healthcare, his M&A advisory work focused on strategic due diligence, merger integration, and organizational behavior and communication.  He also established FGH’s multi-million dollar medical supply distribution unit throughout the southeastern U.S. and international marketplace.  Prior to co-founding FGH, Dr. Forde was an executive with Johnson & Johnson.

Dr. Forde is active in the community, serving as Co-Chairman of the Forde Group Foundation, a community-based mentoring company for “At-risk” youth.  He is also a member of Jack & Jill of America Incorporated, facilitates speaker training workshops for youth members, and also donates time with Moffitt Cancer Center.

Dr. Forde is adjunct professor at Miami Dade College and Hillsborough Community College, who completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida, his master’s degree from Troy State University, and his doctorate degree from University of South Florida.
